We don't have high mountains or dark valleys, so the forest has become a safe haven from invaders, diseases or other people. For many, the forest is a source of income, for others something like a sanctuary or rather a clinic. Twice in history it has supported the national currency. The most diverse people think about the forest in this film; their perceptions are opposite, but for everyone the forest is something very important.

Follows a group of guardian angels and the lessons they'll learn from not only the dysfunctional humans they have to protect, but also each other.

The heroine of the film, Mrs. Gurmyzhskaya, is a former beauty who is living out her days in a remote province. Her nephew, a high school dropout, comes to visit her at her estate, and the hostess, out of boredom, decides to have an affair with him... He willingly responds to his rich aunt's advances. Every year the Brothers of the Delta Chi Alpha fraternity initiate new members at their secluded cabin in the forest. Mimicking the rite-of-passage ritual of the Blood, the Native American Tribe that once lived on the land, the Brothers ditch their initiates in the dark forest on a moonless night to be judged by the spirits. The tradition, however, ended last year when a new member vanished. His body was never found. But, was it a simple accident, or was it the continuation of a cursed family legacy, dating back 150 years? A family legacy steeped in blood. In the end, when the truth is finally known, only one question remains. Will anybody be left to walk out of THE FOREST alive?
